During the month of July, we have been passing our Second Mile Giving Bucket for Supporting Older Adults through Resources, Inc. (SOAR), an all-volunteer organization, which strives to meet the essential needs of Frederick County’s most vulnerable Seniors. June 2018 – School Supplies for FCPS Students-in-Need
This month we are passing the Bucket to purchase school supplies for Frederick County Public Schools Students-in-Need. The supplies will be distributed through Glade Valley Community Services in August.
May 2018 – Missions Trip to Pt. Pleasant, WV
For the month of May, we will be passing the Bucket to support our church’s July Missions Trip to Point Pleasant, WV. The team will be helping to rebuild and remodel homes for families-in-need. Bucket money will be used to purchase supplies and to donate to local churches.
